Job Description
Full time (40 hours) or Part-Time (32-36 hours) with excellent benefits for licensed therapist, working with children and adolescents, age 3 to 17, and their families. This position provides individual therapy to children and adolescents. Some family therapy work is provided. A portion of the sessions may occur in schools as school based mental health sessions. This psychotherapy work serves clients who may have experienced trauma, have anxiety issues, school adjustment issues, and other mental health issues.
The Child and Family Therapist provide individual, group and family therapy to children and their families in an outpatient setting.
Requires a Master's Degree in Social Work or related field, plus 3000 hours post Master's experience or PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited program.
State of Wisconsin Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensure required. Prefer experience in child welfare or a specialty (trauma, adoption, EMDR, etc.)
Update 10/18/21: If not already fully licensed, must have either 1) a temporary license or 2) have completed 3,000 hours through the Children’s Wisconsin Therapist Fellowship Program and obtain full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) from the State of Wisconsin within 6 months of hire.

Current FTE 1.0 full-time, however open to considering part-time reduced schedule of FTE .9 (36 hours/week) or FTE .8 (32 hours/week).
Outpatient therapy and potential for some school based. To meet client needs, some before or after school hours are desired.
This role is based out of the Children's Community Services office in Eau Claire - 2004 Highland Ave
