eStout Student Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of Client Technology Services in the Learning and Information Technology department, this position provides administrative duties as the UWStout student laptop program - "eStout" - Student Coordinator, include managing eStout laptop controls as they relate to student eligibility to participate in the various aspects of the eStout program and administering the financial aspects of the eStout program. Anticipated start date is November 1, 2021.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound judgment, including sensitivity to personal and confidential information
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of standard business software programs including MS Office
- Work independently and as part of a team environment on collaborative efforts
Highly Desired
- Experience supporting student success in a diverse higher education environment
- Working with information systems, retrieving and analyzing data
- Experience forecasting and managing budgets
- Experience in updating website content
- Experience with Peoplesoft or other Student Information Systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including mail merging, Excel pivot tables, querying, data analysis, and reporting tools
- Process improvement experience
- Experience collaborating with supply chain vendors
- Experience with Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Client Technology Services in the Learning and Information Technology department, this position provides administrative duties as the UWStout student laptop program "eStout" student coordinator, including management of all eStout laptop controls as they relate to student eligibility to participate in the various aspects of the eStout program and administering the financial aspects of the eStout program. Knowledge of academic programs/structure and the entire eStout program life cycle is essential to the success of the eStout program and students. A high degree of software and data knowledge is required to maintain and produce accurate student and laptop data; including testing upgraded and/or new information systems to ensure data accuracy. This position is responsible for management and enforcement of the eStout Student Laptop Computer Agreement and eStout policies and procedures, along with budgetary responsibilities. This position facilitates laptop exchange, return, and ownership transfer activities and laptop assignment control. This position may provide direction to student and staff employees regarding eStout tasks.
