Assistant Director of Financial Aid & Student Employment

This position assists with the overall administration and compliance of aid programs and management of the Financial Aid Office staff. Primary responsibilities include management of the Student Employment and Federal Work Study programs. The Assistant Director will also serve as the functional PeopleSoft back-up for the Information Manager. The successful candidate will also possess strong documented skills in the following areas: exceptional customer service, written and verbal communication, presentation skills, collaboration, and teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum / Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Work experience in higher education at a postsecondary level
- Demonstrated experience working with an integrated student information system
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
A group of eleven individuals who pride themselves on working hard on behalf of Stout students. We are a team and help each other out and back each other up. We are comprised of veteran financial aid staff and some that are newer to this challenging and meaningful work.
